WAR
A myriad of deadly bullets fly across the battlefield. Not at all selective of man, woman or child. Oft times slaying innocent victims, rendering death or mutilation. So much blood spilt, soldiers cowering in bunkers beneath a smoke filled sombre sky. Such a horrid scene of war torn countries. Ironically the antagonistic fight for freedom, peace due to greed, hatred, racism, religion and oft times for the love of power. Oh how these warring ones need to be appeased. How they so wish to be elsewhere. Oft times praying for unity Yet the superior leaders prefer to battle it out. Many soldiers, victims of war, end up emotionally and physically damaged. Ah if only leaders could lead the way in love, peace and unity. War would cease to exist. by Shenni Waldron
