I once met a young flower
Who is God-given and
A heaven sent
Although she's like an angel
Whose heart to steal away.
For she's the goddess of beauty, and
Her eyes were brighter
Than the stars in the azure sky.
Her love was what I prey on
Love too weighing
like a Mount Kilimanjaro
She's a fair flower that blooms
With her profound essence to
Reflect my lonely life.
I gazed and gazed at the red rose,
Though it was her, or none;
Maybe my eyes blindfolded,
To become the man I'm not.
My mind filled with the rose,
What pleasure it brings!
To the wind of winter and spring,
That blankets my little horse.
